Ethiopia New Harvest 2026
Daniso Horsa at his dry processing site in Shantawene, Sidama
Over the past year, our Ethiopian partners have been investing heavily in strengthening the value chain on the ground. After visiting Ethiopia in late 2025, our team is even more passionate about the incredible Ethiopian coffees to be found and shared with our customer base.
Get ready for floral and fruity cup explosions!
If you read our last newsletter, you will know cherry prices have jumped across all regions, but the commitment to quality hasn’t wavered - if anything, it has intensified. Following last year’s bumper crop, coffee plants are producing fewer cherries this harvest, naturally pushing prices up. But fewer cherries per branch also means more nutrients per cherry, often translating into greater concentration and clarity in the cup. Our partners are doubling down on processing precision, so while volumes may be tighter, quality is anything but compromised.

In Addis Ababa, our partner’s team walked us through the economic reality: speculation, tariff rumours and last year’s strong returns have also driven cherry prices up. Some mill owners are even temporarily halting operations due to the risks involved. Our partners, however, are present at the mills every single day -monitoring moisture and water activity, running internal cuppings, and applying standards that go well beyond official Ethiopian grading. It really shows in the coffees that reach the table.
What to expect this harvest:

and more!

Guatemala Harvest 2026 Update
The Guatemalan harvest has officially started! It’s a little earlier than previous harvest, but the quality is looking good. Our Quality Team is currently on the ground, actively selecting coffees from our favourite regions across Guatemala. Fresh lots are coming together right now, which makes this the ideal moment to start the conversation.
Let us know what you’re looking for - origin, flavour profile, volume and target price - and we’ll align our purchasing accordingly.
The earlier we know your preferences, the sooner we can get samples in your hands, and the better your chances of securing your favourite coffees straight from the table.
