The business of specialty coffee would simply not exist without the work of agronomists. They are our eyes and ears in the field, the first responders to a producer’s questions, and possess a wealth of knowledge which combines science with site-specific learning.
Jose Manuel is an agronomist with our Guatemalan sister company, La Central de Cafe, and works with our team in Huehuetenango. During a recent visit, we interviewed him about his career journey and what makes his work rewarding.
